BIMLOGIQ Copilot

  • An AI assistant for Revit that eliminates repetitive tasks.

  • Built specifically for Revit, Copilot uses AI to automate documentation and modelling.

The problem

Revit is powerful, but delivery teams still lose hours to manual, repetitive tasks—creating views, tagging elements, building sheets, and checking model consistency. Necessary work, but work that doesn’t scale.

Prompt It. Save It. Share It.

Automate your workflow with a prompt. Save the code for reuse and add variables when needed.

FAQ

How to activate my BIMLOGIQ Copilot?

To activate your Copilot, begin by downloading and installing the tool. After installation, it will be accessible from the top ribbon of your Revit environment under the ‘BIMLOGIQ’ tab. Click on ‘Account’ and proceed to sign up. Following this, select ‘Activate’ to initiate your Copilot.

How does the save command work?

In the chat environment, you can easily ask Copilot to save your actions. Simply type, ‘Save it as a command, name it "Duplicate View",’ and set the number of duplications as variables. The saved command will then appear under the ‘Commands’ tab in Copilot. It is advisable to test your saved command to ensure it functions as expected.

Can I use BIMLOGIQ Copilot for tagging and dimensioning?

Yes, you can use the ‘Tag and Arrange’ public command for tagging. There are also several commands available for dimensioning, though they are not as advanced as the tagging functionalities.

What kind of tasks can I ask BIMLOGIQ Copilot to perform?

You can ask Copilot to assist with various tasks such as working with parameters, views, and models. However, it is important to note that Copilot currently cannot handle very complex commands, like creating a three-story building.

What are good prompt guidelines?

To maximize the benefits of using Copilot, start by interacting with it to understand how to use it effectively. Ensure your prompts are clear, precise, and free of typos, particularly when referring to specific elements in Revit. Use ‘@’ to reference specific items in Revit, or provide their exact names. Specify units for any numerical inputs and the results you expect. Always review the task description generated by Copilot (displayed at the top of the progress window) to confirm it aligns with your intent. If it doesn’t, provide feedback to Copilot for adjustments.

Can I create a space for my company to save my commands and give everyone access?

Yes – on the Enterprise tier, you get a dedicated shared space where you can save commands and make them available to your whole team.

Can I share my saved commands with others?

Yes, simply click on the share icon to share your commands with others.

What are Public Commands?

Public commands are frequently used commands that we’ve added to Copilot, allowing them to be run without needing a prompt or code generation. If you have suggestions for additional public commands, please feel free to contact us.

I haven’t received the activation email – what should I do?

Please check your spam folder first. If it’s not there, ask your IT team to unblock emails from @mail.bimlogiq.com.
